Daniel Bryant
Biography
Daniel Bryant is a 'hands-on' CTO working for IAT Ltd, an e-commerce startup that specialises in increasing customer engagement. In his spare time he contributes to open source projects, and has a passion for sharing his knowledge through blog posts, writing articles for well known technology websites and also presenting at international conferences, including JavaOne, Devoxx and FOSDEM. Daniel is an Associate in the London Java Community (LJC), and sits on the LJC JCP committee and participates in the Adopt-a JSR program. He assists in running hack days, specifically for OpenJDK (the RI for Java), and is is a member of the official OpenJDK Adoption Group. Daniel also enjoys experimenting with practical implementations of Artificial Intelligence, having gained a PhD in this field during his misspent youth as an academic.
